When will Netflix update with season 16 and 17 of NCIS?

When a series has been airing for as long as NCIS — i.e. since 2003 — even some of the most dedicated fans could be forgiven for missing an episode, or even a season. Having most of the show available on demand via Netflix means you can start from the beginning, rewatch favorites, or leave it running in the background until the platform checks in to make sure you're still watching. Once you've finished season 15 (the season on which we learned Pauley Perrette is leaving NCIS), however, you'll have to go back to the beginning, accept your NCIS-less existence, or find an alternative method of watching. As of this writing, neither season 16, which aired from 2018 to 2019, nor season 17, which wrapped up in April 2020, are on Netflix. Here's why we may not see the streaming giant update with season 16 and 17 of NCIS, and where you can watch them, instead. NCIS seasons 16 and 17 may never arrive on Netflix Wilmer Valderrama as Special Agent Nicholas Torres, Mark Harmon as Sp

WHO ‘NEEDS’ AN AR-15? Dallas Store Owner Critically Injured in Savage Beating

Who needs one of America’s favorite rifles to defend themselves and their families? How about a shop owner in Dallas who tried to defend his business from scores of looters? Unfortunately for the merchant, he didn’t have a gun and the feral mob swarmed him. He confronted them with a sword. A mob of rioters just murdered a man in cold blood in Dallas. He was defending his store. pic.twitter.com/1b28ezTUiY — Ian Miles Cheong (@stillgray) May 31, 2020 They beat and stoned him nearly to death on a public street in America. Here’s the video in question [be aware that it’s savage and disturbing] It’s also on our server here in case Twitter memory-holes the tweet (h/t GunFreeZone.net ). Yes, if the merchant had an AR-15, suddenly he wouldn’t have been at the mercy of a feral mob. In fact, the crowd probably would have avoided him entirely Instead, according to some reports he’s clinging to life at a hospital while other reports say he died from his injuries . ‘NYPD scores a touchdown’? Cops TACKLE & BEAT protester with batons as he celebrates on police van (VIDEO)

A protester in New York City quickly found himself pinned to the ground by a swarm of police officers, after mounting the hood of a NYPD vehicle. Footage of the incident has elicited both applause and anger on social media. Countless police vehicles have been vandalized and destroyed in ongoing riots across the United States, but one demonstrator in New York City may have been too hasty while trying to get a piece of the action. A video circulating on social media shows a man standing on a NYPD cruiser waving his arms. Seconds later, a police officer sprints from the driver’s side of the vehicle and tackles him, throwing the protester to the ground. Within seconds, around half a dozen cops surround the man and start beating him with batons. The protester tries to escape but is quickly contained, with officers forming a perimeter around him as he gets cuffed.

T

Political, faith leaders beg Floyd protesters to obey curfew, restore order

Gov. Tim Walz and other Minnesota leaders on Saturday begged protesters angry over George Floyd’s killing to stay home so police and the National Guard could reclaim the streets and root out what authorities describe as an active criminal element bent only on destruction. “We’re asking for you to let the National Guard have the street after 8 p.m. so that we make sure we can restore order,” Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison told reporters at a noon briefing. “We need to be able to stop the burning and the looting and the destruction.” In emotional and sometimes angry tones, Walz, Ellison and other officials and faith leaders delivered the same message: People must obey the nighttime curfew despite their anger over Floyd’s killing. “My heart and guts are being ripped out at this moment because I also want to go to the streets” to protest Floyd’s killing in police custody, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan said. But “there are white supremacists there. There are anarchists. Th

Fox News reporter attacked, chased from demonstration

NEW YORK — A Fox News reporter was pummeled and chased by protesters who had gathered outside the White House early Saturday as part of nationwide unrest following the death of George Floyd. Demonstrators also broke windows and vandalized the Atlanta office building where CNN is headquartered, and police in Louisville, Kentucky, apologized on Saturday after an officer fired what appeared to be pepper bullets at a television news crew. Fox’s Leland Vittert was rattled following the Washington attack he said was clearly targeted at his news organization. Related Louisville PD apologizes for targeting news crew at protest “We took a good thumping,” he told The Associated Press. A live shot he was doing was interrupted by a group of protesters who shouted obscenities directed at Fox. Flanked by two security guards, he and photographer Christian Galdabini walked away from Washington’s Lafayette Park trailed by an angry group before riot police dispersed them. Vittert sai

World’s physics instruments turn their focus to COVID-19

Scientists are employing x rays, electrons, and neutrons to decipher and disable the molecular machinery of the novel coronavirus. David Kramer PDF 3 COMMENTS PREV NEXT Physics Today 73 , 5, 22 (2020); https://doi.org/10.1063/PT.3.4470 Although most basic research has been suspended by the coronavirus pandemic, some labs remain open to engage in a furious effort to find treatments for the disease. Physicists and chemists are vital to a key part of that quest: decoding the three-dimensional structures of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) proteins and finding locations where drugs could latch on and disable the viral machinery. The virus itself is not used for those experiments, only the cloned proteins that are its principal working parts. As of early April, the life sciences beamlines were open for SARS-CoV-2 research at the UK’s Diamond Light Source. In the US, at least 23 groups were working at the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National L
