‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Eric Christian Olsen Claimed He Has ’15 Episodes’ Written in His Head

Long-time star of NCIS: Los Angeles Eric Christian Olsen has been expanding out of acting and more into writing as time goes on. In fact, he claims he has “15 episodes” already written in his head. He’s just waiting for the right times to get them made.

When Christian Olsen made the statements, it was back in 2019. Since then, he has been greenlighted for writing an episode and that will come out later this season. So, he has at least 14 episodes still in his brain then. That’s pretty much an entire season!

“I think I probably have about 15 episodes written in my head right now,” the actor said when asked about writing. “You wake up in the middle of the night and you’ve got an amazing new cold open.”

He doesn’t just want to write episodes. Christian Olsen says he wants to dive into the background of the show’s most beloved figure.

“I think that for me, the thing that I love the most about the show — the pillar of the show — is Linda [Hetty]. After her accident, it’s something that I really missed and I think the audience feels that as well — her POV, her character’s POV, and the strength and gravitas that she brings to the show, but also to the dynamic of the team. I really wanted to do a deep-dive with a story for her and I knew that when I got an opportunity to write my first episode, that’s what we would do. It’s a heavy Linda-driven episode that really taps into the emotional repercussions of a life of violence. There are some pretty existential crisis moments for her, but also for Callen.”

The episode he references was his first written for the show, the 250th episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, “Mother”.

‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Episode was ‘Massive’

For Eric Christian Olsen, that first NCIS: Los Angeles episode he wrote back in 2019 was big. He was able to take a look back at Hetty and her story. Fans were appreciative of the deep dive, and the actor made sure that the effort was put into the production. In fact, he says it was quite a big ordeal.

“It was massive (laughs). It was the most scenes we’ve ever shot in the history of the show. There was so much intercutting and the third and fourth act is just a freight train,” Christian Olsen said.

With another episode written by the NCIS: Los Angeles star himself ready to debut this season, it shows the new approach Christian Olsen is taking to his career. In fact, the actor/writer/producer is coming out with a new first responder dramaRescue: MIA is going to be the first show in the first responder genre to come to CBS. The other major networks have their own such as Chicago Fire, Station 19, and 9-1-1.

Tom Selleck is tortured daily because of his long-term disease, his friends say

If rumors are to be believed, fans of the 'man behind the mustache' might have considerable cause for alarm over the actor's health. Several articles have recently made the rounds, all with the same premise: Hollywood heartthrob, Tom Selleck is facing rapidly declining health as he suffers from a debilitating bout of arthritis. One such source to lay claim to Selleck's failing health is Ghanamma.com, whose information is supported by The Nation, an online newspaper. Both sources state that Selleck's arthritis is becoming increasingly painful and hindering, to the point where he can no longer do his own stunts. More than that, however, the publications reported that Selleck uses a stunt double not only for demanding, challenging scenes, but also for the more trivial, mundane tasks, such as simply climbing out of his police vehicle on set while filming Blue Bloods. Some days are worse than others for the former action star, unnamed sources said, claiming tha...

Dogecoin surges 30% to a record above 50 cents as speculative crypto trading continues

Dogecoin , the cryptocurrency based off a viral dog meme from nearly a decade ago, surged 30% on Tuesday to set a new record high at more than 50 cents per coin. The cryptocurrency was trading at about 54 cents, according to data from Coin Metrics. Dogecoin rose to roughly 40 cents per coin last month before falling sharply for several days after the calendar turned to April 20, a date widely celebrated as a marijuana-themed holiday. Dogecoin was started as a joke in 2013 amid a boom in early cryptocurrencies. It was based on a popular internet meme at the time that featured a Shiba Inu dog and cartoon-style text over the image. Its rise in recent months has been highlighted by many as a sign of froth and speculation in the financial markets, particularly among younger investors who started trading during the pandemic. The coin has been boosted in recent weeks by billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Cuban , who have both mentioned Dogecoin on Twitter multiple times. Cuba...
