Hey, “NCIS” fans. We’re back at with another interesting NCIS news report. CBS recently released the press release for their upcoming NCIS episode 4 of the current 16th season. It does contain a teaser description of the episode. So, any of you who don’t want to be spoiled in any way, I would suggest you stop reading this article right now.
For those of you who don’t care about any type of spoilers, please feel free to keep reading this article. It turns out that in this upcoming season 16, episode 4, agent Leroy Gibbs is going to get his sweet, cabin vacation interrupted by some very unexpected visitors along with a request for help in a dangerous situation! So, it sounds like Gibbs just can’t catch a break these days.
The press release revealed episode 4 is entitled, “Third Wheel.” It turns out that Tobias Fornell and Navy Captain Phillip Brooks will be the culprits that cut Gibbs’ vacation short with their visit. Also, the NCIS team will help out in interrupting Gibbs’ good time with a phone call about helping them track down a robber in the woods near him.
CBS’ official description reads like this,”Gibbs’ quiet vacation at his remote cabin is interrupted by a surprise visit from Tobias Fornell (Joe Spano) and Navy Captain Phillip Brooks (Don Lake) as well as a call from NCIS asking for his help locating a robber hiding in the woods near him.” An alternate description reads like this,”While Gibbs is on a quiet vacation in the woods, he is interrupted by his friends, Fornell (@RealJoeSpano) and Brooks (@donlakeofficial), and an NCIS case near his cabin.”
Another alternate description reads like this, “GIBBS’ QUIET VACATION AT HIS REMOTE CABIN IS INTERRUPTED BY A SURPRISE VISIT FROM HIS FRIENDS AS WELL AS A CALL FROM NCIS REGARDING A CASE IN THE WOODS NEAR HIM.”
How will Gibbs handle all these interruptions of his quiet vacation? That’s the big question for this particular situation. We’ll definitely have to wait and see. It certainly sounds like it could feature some intense moments since there’s a robber on the loose and all.
CBS also released a preview clip for episode 4. The narration for the clip says, “This mystery lands NCIS deep in the woods. And this killing spree ain’t no fairy tale.” It features very intense scenes that show Gibbs pulling a gun at one point saying, “No one else needs to die.” That of course implies that somebody did indeed die. So, that certainly isn’t good.

CBS also released a couple of preview photos for episode 4. Gibbs, Bishop and Torres are featured in a lot of them.
