Tomorrow night, NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 4 is going to be bringing you Lasalle in crisis. How much so? Well, he has to contemplate his family being a rather-large financial hole for some time.
In the sneak peek below, Lasalle does his best in order to give Hannah Khoury an update as to what he’s going through — while working on a case, he is awaiting the findings of the IRS investigation into his family and their business dealings. This started at the end of this past season, and for most of the past few months, he’s been awaiting whatever the results are.

This is a near-impossible situation for Lasalle to be in, mostly because none of this was his fault and he has to figure out still how to get out of the situation. The sins of the father are in this case being passed down to the son. The situation’s probably all the more difficult because he works in law enforcement himself; being under IRS investigation while working for another branch of the government has to be some tricky waters for him to advance.
While Hannah made it really clear to Lasalle in this sneak peek that Lasalle could take the day off if he needed to, we don’t think that this is happening. This is a guy who certainly loves what he does; beyond that, he’s also a guy who probably would drive himself mad in the event that he was left to his own devices leading up to the big meeting.
